A must read if you have read the first part
Hi Guys! So I got this amazing response from a very nice author after reading my poem titled "love?”
This poem below is her piece of writing and a bit of my poem. After reading it I really wanted to publish it. So njokikamau19 here is it:

That he loves with me,
That he likes me,
That I have captivated his attention,
That I am merged, in his life.
Not only to be a part of it.
That I am the center of his universe

how do I know?
That when he compares everyone with me,
Even the perfect become imperfect?

Does his heart skip a beat?
Every time I smile or speak?
Does he catch my charm, my magic?
When everyone tries to catch his attention?

I am in war with my heart.
Is he?
This heart, that fights
Fights with fear.

They say that love conquers all,
then why am I afraid?
Afraid of losing him
Afraid he won’t love me back
Afraid he may hurt me, break me into a million pieces?
Afraid he is playing me,
afraid he is using me?

I have asked of my friends
to tell me what love is?
How do I know?
That he loves me too?

They said to wait,

How long do I wait?
And even then, how do I know?

Now I wait,
for him to hold my hand,
to teach me how to walk when my knees drain of strength.
To open the closed doors of my heart,
to tell me that he loves me too.

Maybe then, I will be unafraid.
And then I will know.
When he breaks the wall of fear,
to set me free,
so then; I accept,
what the heart hopes is true.

After reading this poem even I had written an impromptu poem. Which is:

What are you waiting for
for him to confess his love
but what if he is afraid
afraid to lose you
afraid that you don't him
afraid that you are too good for him
afraid that he may not
meet your expectations?

Then what should you do?
confess your undying love
confess what your heart
wants you to confess
confess what you want
him to confess.

But what if
he says a no?
Then you your answer
and aren't in false hopes
isn't that better?
Getting sorted knowing
if he loves you too?
If he is the one?
But do girls
propose guys?
Yes they do?
Imagine telling your love story
to your kids and saying that
I proposed your dad!
How does that sound?

Take the chance
before its too late
take the chance
before its gone
why are you rejecting
what your heart is asking
you to do?
