Is it real or just a fantasy?
Endless rows of purple
as far as the eye can see
dreams melt into tiny petals
delightfully enchanting me

Dainty blooms in the sun
as the wind slowly blows
the sky is the brightest blue
sunbeams warm my toes

Barefoot, I run with abandon
among the magical flowers
my worries and cares all gone
it feels like hours and hours

Then rain comes softly
it's refreshingly light
I'm all soaked with joy
then suddenly comes the night

All my glee is sucked away
as I realize I must go
I stumble my way back
it disappoints me so

I guess it was a silly dream
but still I will yearn
when life gets to be
too much for me
I do hope to return.
