An animals picnic invaded,
why did they have to come?
Two human girls covered ground,
ground in which we'd gathered.
Atop a blanket, they placed food,
and water strange, though tasty,
tasty and heated, like sun-scorched.

A gale sweeps through,
the four-legged scatter,
one remains with the two girls,
a billy drinks his tea.
A pleasant time for three.
