The King Invades

The King of Ingomar

WC 258

"This is my kingdom now!" Max yelled at the top of his lungs. He fist pumped the air and took a big swig of his sweet drink. "So take that!"

"Yeah? Well watch me do this!" Josie worked her magic. Suddenly both screens went black as did the room.

"What did you do!?" Max screamed and knocked over his chair. He groped in the dark and felt his drink dripping onto his head.

"It wasn't me! I swear!" Josie was now on the floor and crawling to where she thought the door was.

A bright beam cut through the inky darkness. "You are mine now! It is useless to resist!"
The voice was otherworldly and piercing. A large glowing form started to expand into the room. It sparked and dropped metal shavings over the floor.

Josie whispered to Max, "Is that The King of Ingomar from the game we were just playing?"

"Yes! Yes it is," Max spoke from under his table.

"Awesome! He is something in real life! Look at that crown!"

"Josie! He's a monster! Get rid of him!" Max hissed. The foot of The King of Ingomar was about to touch Max's hand.

"Oh alright. You're no fun. Hey King! You aren't welcome here! So just leave!"

"Yeah, what she said!" Max pointed to the sparking form.

The King of Ingomar vanished. The lights came back on and the computers' black screens morphed back to the multi-colored game screens.

"Ah, what do you say we play Bingo for awhile?" Josie crawled back into her seat.
