Nighttime Epiphany
As darkness enters its nether world, as daylight gives up the ghost
Hands entwine as though they're hurled, grasping and gasping most
Fingers caress as purchased right, for airs become created
Night fights day, day fights night, though both are in truth elated

Artful ambiance fettered through, as both take time's return
Craving each one's melted hew, though awaiting each to burn
For in each manna brought to bear, where one is in command
Exists that seeking that so rare, bringing the other in demand

Close to darkness when it rears, eclipsing all what waits
Sliding faithfully in slow built tears, slowly closing all the gates
Eyes now stand faithfully slow, erasing what was passed
Building on this nighttime show, hoping it will last
