How I have used my social Media platforms.
|When I began first trying to promote myself online, the first thing I learned was that you have to have a strong social media presence. I have had a positive experience here and so recommend using social media properly to promote your business and your offers.
My two main platforms, right now, are Facebook and WebTalk. Honestly, I first set up my Facebook account to promote a committee I was serving on, and I realized that getting Friend Requests helped me get more exposure for my committee’s posts and concerns. I branched out into promoting my books and, eventually my business, on Facebook. I have had a very favorable response there. If used properly, Facebook is a valuable tool for business promotion or promotion for any issues you want to get awareness for. I have promoted many posts for charities like the Cancer Society.
I recently joined WebTalk and am still getting used to the routine on this site. I have had many valuable conversations with fellow WebTalk members about Transition To Success, and have taken great strides in getting my message out.
It is paramount to make sure you utilize your social media platform properly. Make sure that other members of the platform know exactly what your intentions are when you post. If you want to promote and not just chat, make sure all your posts reflect that.
