Two friends unite for an Easter Celebration
Pink Fluffy Unicorn
Befuddled, was the Unicorn
Her spirits quite forlorn
Sasha gazed upon her field
With Brightly colored eggs concealed
Her playground sorely tainted
By scads of vivid ovals painted
Disgruntled by the gaudy sight
The mythical pony cried out in fright
"Pink and purple, and all shades of blue
Yellow and green, every whimsical hue"
Sasha the unicorn bolted upright
Dainty steed upset by her plight
"Oh my, oh me, my lovely meadow,
It wasn't like this, just a minute ago."
She looked about to find the reason
Having forgotten, the Easter season
"Looks like spring, has exploded out there
Such a mess to behold, I do declare."
Zigzags and stripes, and paw prints too
Many eggs adorned, all shiny and new
"Who might I ask did this dastardly deed?
"I've no grass, in which to frolic," Sasha decreed
A plaid vested bunny, so suddenly appeared
Fuzzy and furry, he was quite big eared
With glasses that danced on his wriggling nose
Twas the Easter rabbit, that everyone knows
"Oh, Happy Day," he said with joyous cheer
"Its Easter time and Spring is finally here.'
Between his teeth he carried a rose
He placed it gently at the unicorn's toes
"Sasha, may I ask you for a kindness please
Baskets galore, we must disperse of these'
It's time, it's time, for the Easter quest
Line up little ones, and be our guest"
On Sasha he placed, on her glistening horn,
Baskets galore, for the pretty unicorn
To her golden mane he tied just a few
And in her mighty tail, he wove some too
"Sweet friend, to the children please carry,
On winged flight, let us make Easter merry"
Beautiful unicorn, to the rabbit bowed
She said, "Helping you shall do me proud."
Eager faces of children gave Sasha reason
Suddenly filled with the joy of the season
She spread her wings, that pink fluffy unicorn
With just a dusting of glitter she was soon airborne
To each waiting child, she gave a woven basket
And to the delight of the smiling Easter rabbit
Her magical grace, such a sight to behold
With Unicorn's flight the best story told
