April 20th Entry. NaPoWriMo/GloPoWriMo 2019
Her beauty extended to thick pages,
the stars shone brighter around her,
waves calmed instead of crashed.

Inked fantasies on cheap parchment,
what started as unbalanced love,
never faltered, though mutated.

Today, my thoughts of her return,
a girl then, soon became a mother,
I wonder how her life is now.

A beauty like hers doesn't fade,
but beams brightly from within,
I only hope that she's happy.

She was oh so pretty,
I was left pretty incomplete.
Now I sit here a pretty broken man.
