Humankind continues to live beyond what our natural resources can provide. Than what?
There will transpire a time,
Global warming will reach
a tipping point, a world
that is dying by choices
Humankind has made.

Humankind's selfish actions,
need to be rectified before
it's too late.

This land we have neglected
this land we hold dear,
Our need for power
our need for comfort.

Our planet's future unknown

If we continue to subsist
beyond our planet's means,
famine, animal extinction,
and eventually the annihilation
of Humanity, to mention a few
will become our new standard.
It could be the beginning of the
end of Humanity and all species.

No bounty to feed us
No drinkable water to replenish us
No children to carry on our way of life
Infertility will be the norm, disease
will rip apart Society

In today's World, the above events
are already playing out as I write this.
We are powerless to stop it.

We need to take a page from our early
forefathers handbook and go forth
and embrace SIMPLE living,
be one with Nature, not against it.
