A dance of death that can be everlasting
The women, in a blood red dress, walks thru the night
By the tombs of all she danced with in her chateau
The moon fills the cemetery with a ghostly silvery light
As memories of her partners emerge within the glow

First one grave, then another opens wide
And her victims stepped forth in one long stride

In haste for the chance to dance with her again
They reach her, soon they're whirling around so gay
Then challenge, to beard the lion in her den
Only for some, their cerements get in the way

This dance of death, so playful and curious
Sighing with pleasure, but so deathly serious

The woman's red dress flows like a gentle breeze
and can change in a wink into a stormy sight
She's death in her movements, a beautiful tease
Who can transform into a vampire with a deadly bite

Death can be hidden in a Shakespeare scene or act
Who can be a mystic beauty with no lines or queues
Death comes sneaking in without a pact or contract
With death colors of red, she'll glide in with vibrant hues

She's a beauty, a man's fantasy, every man's dream
They do not see what she intends under the starry sky
They're mesmerized like a cat that's found the cream
But sober up when Angel's trumpet is heard on high
