This is all wrong.
Since you’ve been gone,
Nothing seems to matter.

This is not right.
Despite all I try,
Nothing ever gets better.

You were my balance,
But now you’ve gone away,
Leaving me to unevenly sway.

I don’t blame you for leaving,
It just hurts to know,
That I made you go.

No matter how much you say,
It wasn’t me,
What else could it possibly be?

You were strong when I wasn’t.
But I couldn’t stand,
When you needed a hand.

I was selfish,
I was wrong,
And now you are long gone.

You did everything right.
You are a bright light,
That changes things for the better.

I was so wrong.
The dark clouds gather,
Where ever I remain.

You were right,
Now so am I,
The world is better off...
