In answer to a writing prompt
|The judge was ready to deliver the verdict when suddenly he was unable to raise his gavel. Overwhelmed perhaps, by the tremendous weight and responsibility of dispensing justice. Again he tried in vain to raise his gavel, and again he was met with firm resistance. As if Thor himself had lent his hammer in poor judgement to one who is unworthy to wield it. The bailiff suppressed a smile as he pocketed the super glue and thought 'that'll teach you for taking my parking space'.
