A recap of yesterday's San Diego/Toronto Game Three
|After that 19-4 debacle on Saturday, the Toronto Blue Jays needed to redeem themselves yesterday against the San Diego Padres to avoid the sweep.
That's exactly what the Jays did and in a big way.
The Jays defeated the Padres 10-1.
Toronto's Lourdes Gurriel went four for four at the plate and had two RBIs.
Blue Jay's starting pitcher, Marcus Stroman, got his second straight win.
Stroman went five innings, giving up five hits, an earned run, a walk, and struck out two batters.
Padre's Eric Hosman, Hunter Renfroe, and Ty France all went two for four at the plate.
San Diego's starter, Robbie Erlin, went just two innings, giving up three hits, an earned run, a walk, and struck out two batters.
