A recap of last night's Toronto/ Tampa Bay Game Two
|The Toronto Blue Jays didn't get pounded by the Tampa Bays Rays last night, but a loss is a loss.
The Rays defeated the Jays 3-1, winning the three game series.
The Rays went ahead 1-0 in the bottom of the first inning when Travis d'Arnaud hit a sacrifice fly.
In the bottom of the third inning, Toronto's right fielder, Randal Grichuk, thought he had a guaranteed out when Ayisail Garcia hit a pop fly.
Unfortunately, Grichuk lost sight of the ball.
The ball went over Grichuk's head and Garcia ended up with an inside the park home run to make it 2-0 Tampa.
In the bottom of the seventh inning, the Rays went ahead 3-0 when Austin Meadows hit a solo home run.
The Jays finally got on the scoreboard at the top of the ninth inning when Brandon Drury hit a sacrifice fly.
Toronto's Justin Smoak went two for four at the plate last night.
Toronto's starting pitcher, Clayton Richard, went four innings, giving up three hits, two earned runs, four walks, and struck out three batters.
Meadows also went two for four at the plate and collected a RBI.

The Toronto Blue Jays look to avoid the sweep tonight.

He had a no decision in a 6-3 loss.
Thornton's last start against the Rays was on April 12 where he took the loss in an 11-7 Tampa Bay win.
Snell has 78 strikeouts this season.
Snell faced the Blue Jays on April 13.
Although Snell struck out nine batters in that game, his team lost 3-1,.
Meadows has batted .1,000 off of Thornton this season.
