This was a prompt that someone gave in class.

If you could catch the brightest
Star, it could be kept inside a jar.
The twinkling light will soon shine bright;
It will be a pretty sight.

Implanted in your mind, are the lifts you get,
with all the precious gifts that you can imagine.

A beautiful scene explodes, far up in the universe,
Where kindness will bear a remembrance of things
To come. Little cares seem to enfold, by doing
Things according to what has been told.

Singing telegrams are coming your way,
Telling my friends that I want them to stay. If ever
The endeavor seemed to be clever, but the reality
Would be, as far as I could tell, it is to know in my
Heart that you're doing well.

The beginning chapter of a book is what we're after,
Filled with love and lots of laughter. Too many theories
Will make us cheery, knowing the acts will begin with
The facts, and soon we'll be doing the jumping jacks.

With dreams to share, and lots to spare, the
Brightness in their eyes will surprise those
They love.

The joy of insight that delights, will enhance the
Excitement of enlightenment.
