When you are sad and no one is around to comfort you, you always have your teddy bear.
Sometimes when I need a shoulder to cry on

And no one is around to hold me

I pick up my teddy bear and climb into my bed

Pretending you are here to wipe my tears

No shame in crying oneself to sleep

It’s okay to feel this way

Lost and afraid of the world around me

No shame in crying yourself to sleep at night

I find that I can’t hold on all alone

That I need you more than you know

I am losing my grip, hanging on the edge

Close to falling off, or letting go

No shame in crying oneself to sleep

It is okay to feel this way

Lost and afraid of the world around me

No shame in crying yourself to sleep at night

Sometimes when I need a shoulder to cry on

And no one is around to hold me

I pick up my teddy bear and climb into my bed

Pretending you are here to wipe my tears

Late at night when I am all alone

I find myself slipping even more

I can’t keep going on alone

So sometimes I pick up my teddy bear and cry
