I don't want to read
"Mom I'm trying to read, I really am" said Paul.

"There is no try, there is only do" replied the mom.

"Can you please stop quoting Yoda, I know your a huge fan of Star Wars"

"Yoda is a wise Jedi"

"I hate when you say that"

"I know, but it doesn't make his words, logical"

"Surely it was time someone invented a new plot. Every story you recommend is either too scary, too lovey dovey, too silly, or too weird"

"I tried to pick books of every single genre. Besides doesn't that describe the movies you watch too. How come you don't complain then? Doesn't all the movies you watch have the same amount"

"I did complain about Star Wars Episodes 4, 5, and 6, they were sooooo old fashion"

"Those were the best movies"

"I hate old movies"

"Anyways let's get back on the topic of reading
We are getting way off topic"

"I told you, nothing interests me"

"You have to read a book for school"

"I hate school"

"Good grades equals a good job, I can't provide for you forever. All I ask is for you to get good grades"

"What if I don't want to do the work?"

"You have to, no ifs, ands, or buts. Pick a book and read two chapters everyday"

"But I can't find any book that interests me"

"If you don't, then no movies, understand?"

"Yes, mom"

After mom left the room, Paul grabbed a stuffed animal and threw it across the room. This was before muttering to himself, "Reading, I hate reading"
