A poem about the feeling of longing for a love that used to be!
I miss the feel

Of arms holding me close

The feel of kisses

Shared out of passion

I miss the sound

Of my name on someone's lips

The sound of I love you

After a heated moment

I miss the looks

Of desire in a lover’s eyes

The look of longing

As we say goodbye

I miss the feel, sound, and looks

Of love, I used to have

The way it used to melt my heart

Having someone call me theirs

My heart longs to feel

Arms holding me close

And for kisses

Shared out of passion

My heart aches to hear

My name on a lovers lips

Aching to hear I love you

After heated moments

My heart pines to see

Desire in a lovers eyes

Pining for the looks of longing

When we say goodbye

My heart longs, aches, and pines

For the touch, the sound, and sight

Of love, it used to have.

And having someone call me theirs
