There are many ways to feel
I feel with my heart
As well as my hand
I feel there is hope
That I’ll understand

I feel with my soul
As well as my heart
I feel all alone
When we are apart

I feel for the lame
And also the lost
I feel for the birds
Caught out in the frost

I feel the warm air
Brush over my skin
I feel for lost memories
And places I’ve been

I feel the soft satin
That covers the bed
I feel myself yearn
To lay down my head

I feel all the pain
As my body grows older
I feel the long nights
The days that get colder

I feel there is more
Much more to be done
I feel myself think of
The good times and fun

I feel you are saying
Much more than I hear
But now if I’m honest
I feel like a beer
