There is a solution that can have an immeasurable impact on all our lives. It is known only to a minority yet is freely available to most. It is championed by a select few scientists, doctors and politicians, yet is fiercly oppposed by governments, the media, the medical industry and corporations. It will improve health, cure diseases, help restore mental health, create a measure of happiness presently unavailable to billions, save money and save our planet's environment. It can help us to look younger, feel fitter, and work harder. It comes with no side effects and does not cost thousands.
This solution can help prevent, can ease, and even cure diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, and Dementia. Although this has been resoundingly proven by thousands of studies and experiences, the amazing results have been supressed, ridiculed, challenged and denied. Yet, today the world desperately needs this solution.
In our fast-paced world, we face many issues and challenges, most of which we have little or no control over. Unlike previous generations we now face inordinate amounts of stress and anxiety on a daily basis. Our environment is beng eroded and has negative effects on our health everyday of our lives. Also, the modern lifestyle has switched emphasis from a physically active, manufacturing and farming society to a sedentary, service-based one where most people live and work in artificial environments and consume heavily treated and processed foods and drinks.
The result of our modern lifestyle is record chronic physical and mental illness, a worldwide obesity crisis, a dependency on drugs with harmful side effects, and a general discontentment and unhappiness with life. We are seeing, not only massive increases in diseases such as Cancer and Heart Disease but, the age at which people are developing these is getting younger and younger. But we can change all that, by adopting the solution.
One of the biggest killers in our modern society is our diet. Our processed foods are manipulated and contaminated to sell more, regardless of the human misery and loss they inflict. Our diets are dictated and driven by corporations which relentlessly overwhelm us with advertizing and then selll us chemical-soaked, sugar-laced junk. Most corporations and governemnts are fully aware of the consequences of these products along with the sickness, misery and premature death that they inflict but, they fight obsessively, spending billions, to defend their rights to carry on this criminal practise. They confuse the public with opposing reports and conflicting data, and they take control of the information that we are fed. Let me give some examples of this corruption.
Some years ago in the USA, Senator Mc'Govern was commisisioned to study the state of Americans health in relation to food. His final report made many far-reaching reccomendations of urgently needed changes in the American diet. However, the report was banned from being published and the committee which was set up to advise on public health was disbanded. This was directly due to the agriculture industry putting pressure on the government. Had that report been published, it would have saved millions of people, particularly children, from sickness and death.
In Canada, the “Mutiple Sclerosis Society”, a charity set up to help and advise sufferers of this terrible disease, threatened to bankrupt a man who was suffering from MS, simply for sharing his amazing experience of recovery and his warning others about the inneffectiveness of the medications that were being sold to sufferers. It turned out that the sponsors of the MS Society were actually the very companies that sold the MS drugs to victims. Their income runs into the billions.
In Britain, people are advised about food by the “British Nutrition Foundation”, an organization set up by the government. Yet, this organization is not only sposnored by the meat, dairy and confectionary industries but the actual board members work for corporations that promote and sell unhealthy products. What chance do trusting British people have of unbiased, healthful information from such a prejudiced source which has it's hand in the pot?
The “American Diabetes Association” openly promotes foods that are deadly for diabetics. They actually have recipes on their website which includes sugars, dairy and fatty meats. This is not surprising when you discover that the Association's main financiers are the meat, dairy and sugar industries.
In a letter from one senior executive in the dairy industry to another, he wrote, regarding the battle to promote dairy products in the face of health awareness, “Doubt is our greatest weapon.”
Most doctors have little, if any training in nutrition yet, nutrition has rightly been called the “Single most important contributory factor in health.”
There have been many untruths and myths planted into our minds by unscrupulous corprorations and politicians. For example, we have been forcefully and persuasively informed over the past century that we must have lots of protein and that this can only come from meat and dairy. What they won't tell you though is that Proteins are freely available from many other sources, particulalrly vegetables and nuts, Furthermore, there has rarely been a case of protein defficiency in the western world. In fact it is quite the reverse, many people have an excess of protein in their diets. According to “Harvard Medical School”, too much protein can cause “High cholesterol and a higher risk of cardiovascular disease, increased cancer risk, Kidney disease and kidney stones, weight gain (yes, this seems odd for a proposed weight loss strategy), Constipation or diarrhea.”
This brings us to a simple truth, that good health does not earn any profit. But foods that have been manipulated to be addictive, (yes they actually do that!) drugs and medical treatments earn companies and governments trillions each year. It does not pay to cure people but, it is extremely profitable to make them ill. The scandal is so deep and rife that most corporations and politicians are benefitting in some way from the sickness of our citizens. This is worse than genocide or war because it is being done to their own people and for the sake of money.
However, there are those who are brave enough to stand up and challenge this obscenity in our lives. Many of them have provided abundant evidence, have done research, and published proof of a better way than drugs. Yet they have paid a heavy price for their concern and efforts. Many have lost jobs or positions of responsibilty. Some have been threatened, sued or publicly vilified.
What these people and organizations have found is a simple but remarkable truth, a solution. It may come as a surprise to people but, most diseases are preventable. Only a small proportion of diseases are genetically caused, and even these can be treated using the solution. The human body is incredibly well designed, with an immune system that is powefrul, complex and extremely effective. The problem is that our immune system is compromised and run down by many factors in life. Chief among these is the foods that we consume. It has now been irrefutably proven, in thousands of sicentific studies and experiments, that the best way to stengthen the immune system is by consuming a plentiful range of whole foods – plants. A person does not need to abstain from other sources of food completely, although the same experts strongly reccommend reducing intake of fats and sugars. Nattural foods – vegetables, fruits, pulses, grains etc are perfect for optimal human health and vitality. Of course people with allergies would avoid even natrual foods that can affect them. A plant-based diet has now been proven to prevent most of the major diseases that afflict modern society. These foods have now been recognized as being able to treat, and reverse illnesses in even the most severely afflicted sufferers. One example of this is vitamin C (Absorbic Acid). This vitamin is not available from meat, fish or dairy sources yet, is essential to good health. Vitamin C not only prevents Cancer but, has been successfully used to treat Cancer. This does involve the vitamin in it's natural, raw state, not a tablet form. There are literally tens of thousands of sufferers who have found relief and even cures from adopting a plant based diet. Statistically it has been shown, time and again, that those who consume a plant-based diet live longer and enjoy exceedingly better health than others who follow the typical modern diet.

Let me add my own family testimony to these comments.
I have been on a plant-based diet for most of my adult life. I am 58. All of my six siblings (who have a normal western diet) suffer from multiple chronic illensses includng cancers, COPD and Diabetes. They are on medications and treatments for the rest of their lives. The worst illness I have ever had is the flu. The only mediciations I have ever used were antiboiotics.
My wife developed several chronic health conditions when she was in her twenties and consumed a typical western diet (with an excess of milk). She soon developed Cancer, ITP ( a rare blood disease) and Crohn's Disease (a disease of the small intestine). Year after year she suffered relapses with this awful, debilitating condition, She was often bedbound and could not leave the house. About 10 years ago she decided to try a plant-based diet. She went five years without a flare up of her condiition and, although she has had one or two flares ups during times of inordinate stress, she is healthy today.
None of us need to suffer any more preventable illnesses. We all deserve to feel healthy and happy. We have the power to accomplish this. It does not take great sacrifice or massive change. We can still enjoy a rich flavoursome diet. Countless people who have tried this lifestyle have reported results in less than one month. It is powerful and life-changing. We can extend our lives, improve our lives and shake off the devious grip of the greedy corporations and corrupt politiicianss. The system of control and manipulation so expertly practised by them is a form of modern slavery. Set yourself free, choose your own life, a healthy life, consuming the foods that we were designed to consume, foods that are the most compatible with our physiology. By making one change in our lives we can accomplish amazing things like, helping to save our earth, extending our own life, enjoying a healthier life, increasing our mental and physical attributes, and sparing other creatures pain and suffering. It is a simple change yet it yields so many benefits, both personal and global.
