A picture prompt of a box makes me wonder what could be inside
Could be what, in the box?
Could be a fun,
Something something.

Could be,
A dangerous something else.

White box,
Pretty pink flowers,
Painted green whatsit whatsit,
All around.

Could be leaves,
Could be clouds,
Could be simply,
Palm branches.

Box’s like a house,
A real pretty house,
Quaint and dainty,
For a real pretty doll.

Could be a trick,
Could be a scorpion inside,
Most likely,
A real deadly snake.

Could be a cobra,
Can’t be sure,
Unless you look.

But you know what,
Did to the cat,
‘Cos you know,
Could be anything in there,
In that box,
Pretty outside,
As it is.
