Love, past and lost that is now lamented.

Memories fade but not this one
Her image forever in my mind
I close my eyes and it appears
The most beautiful I’d ever find

Hair like sunshine on waving wheat
Her smile sweeter then Mona Lisa’s
Her eyes so deep a man could drown
Love meaning more then the Pieta’s

As each day ends I lie in bed
Her memory returns to my mind
My eyes open and she is there
A love I will NEVER AGAIN find
