This a poem about drinking Cocoa and finding Peace in looking out the window while flying.
There is something soothing

About being 30,000 feet up

Looking down at the world

Your mind sees things

In a different sort of light

All the aching pieces of my soul

Seem to heal with a sip of hot cocoa

While looking at the ground below

It always seems

I find a sense of peace

Of rebirth

When I’m on the outside looking in

Time finds a new way of flowing

As you zip along

At 400 miles an hour

Yet your soul seems to stop

Some people find it

When they meditate

Some find it

In their Holy places

For me, it seems

Flying fast and far

Looking down at the world

Sipping my hot cocoa

Is where I find it best

It takes my aches,

My broken parts

The pain, the tears, the fears

And puts them aside

For a small moment in time

There is something special

Being 30,000 feet high

And looking down at the world below

It changes how I see the world

So come join me

let's go fly and see

Things in a brand new light.
