An article about how to reinvent yourself and become happy
A lot of us out here are wondering if there is more to life than what we have now. I think we are held back in a lot of ways by the way we look at ourselves. If we are somewhat older and facing the prospect of “midlife” crises or even early retirement, we get this idea that we aren’t any good. My own father tells me that at my age I can’t expect to find a job out there. Yet to me I am still able, a thinking person, someone who’s still got my wits about me and able to wield the pen or computer to say what I’m thinking, to have a voice.
We each of us have a voice. It is this voice we must keep sacrosanct because it is what the world needs to hear.
We are also hemmed in by what we look like, how we feel, are we feeling our age or are we so debilitated that our minds are telling us we can’t do a damn thing anymore. It was like that for me too. In my last job, i was doing well but I started getting demoralized. Getting some jabs at my ability to write a technical application for some markets in the world for our products. Even my own boss said I couldn’t write a thing, yet, I thought, in the last nine years of my work there i received GOOD reviews from this same person.
I have to stress we must believe that God has a plan fo reach of us. We have to do this daily to recite this constantly because it is so deeply entrenched that we all are in the weeds and feel unable to function. We reach for the Kleenex and feel morose. We are not a function of what those assholes are telling us we are. We are God’s function if you will. But we are more than a function but function we must. Even getting out of bed and doing something routine will relieve us of our doldrums and then we’ll alight on a different idea in our ruminations.
It is so important for everyone to feel as though no matter how old or young you are, your physical abilities, you health or perceived health, you state in life, your singleness or being married, you have a lot to live for and a lot to contribute to the life of this world, and, ultimately, to give it all to God Who will make it better for you one day. God will, if you ask Him, magnify what is good in you and diminish what is bad in you.
So buck up and start the coffee. Don’t be sad at all. if you must sniffle, then do it then just move on and get going. Be happy that you still have life. it is God Who lifts you up out of bed, or did you not know that? The Holy Spirit is our guide and He is God.
God bless you in everything that you ever want and hope for you that you will live long and prosper (haha)
