A column about the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Anybody who has read my articles on this website knows I'm a longtime Toronto Blue Jay fan.

Today, however, I want to focus on the hottest team in baseball right now.

The Los Angeles Dodgers.

This team is red hot.

The Dodgers are first in the league in wins with 60 and has probably the best hitter in the National League.

Cody Bellinger.

Bellinger has a batting average of .336, 19 doubles, 30 home runs, and 71 RBIs.

I also got to mention Bellinger's teammate, Max Muncy. He has 60 RBIs this season.

Los Angeles also has good pitching.

Hyun-Jin Ryn is 10-2 and has an earned run average of 1.73.

Walker Buehler is 8-1.

Dodger's closer, Kenley Jansen, has 23 saves.

The Dodgers are eighth in hitting (818), seventh in runs (480), fifth in home runs (146), and sixth in RBIs (466).

Los Angeles are also seventh in extra base hits with 235.

This Dodgers are the team to beat in the second half of the season and Bellinger is on pace to hit 50 home runs this year.

Bellinger is quite possibly the National League's Most Valuable Player this season.
