Poem-Striving and Thriving

Loss,pain and suffering have a tendency to bring us closer to ourselves.

And today when my my pen writes
Courage rises within me as my words take flight
No longer I am blinded by the light
The enthralling light within me has set everything right

I fell deep in the ocean of pain and longing
Absorbing the deafening sound of my heart's violent throbbing.
When finally I grew tired of the fight
And remembered that whenever you fall, you rise

Accepting pain was never a challenge
But by embracing it I have truly truly found a balance
Knowing that I was strong ,made it difficult to accept my weakness outright
But by being the weakest,shrouded in my vulnerability
I found that I am stronger than I realise.

And as my pen rights flows through my words-Courage,Pain,Love and Sacrifice
It's like I have pretended to be strong all my life
Because now I know how being truly strong feels like.
