A dog watches over his family

As she stands at the window every morning, he looks at her from the woods. He says, "I was born here, I was buried here, I will stay here." "My master lived here, died here, so did my mother." "I watched over them, this house and I always will." "I will stay, I will watch, I will watch over you."
