Tonight's Pitchers:

TOR: Trent Thornton - 3-6.

BOS: Rick Porcello - 6-7.

The Toronto Blue Jays kick off a four game series against the Boston Red Sox tonight.

Both teams lost their series on the weekend.

Toronto lost two out of three against the New York Yankees and Boston lost two out of three against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

This series does not fall in Toronto's favor

Toronto has a dismal 17-29 record on the road.

Thornton faced the Red Sox on July 2. Boston won 10-6.

Thornton lasted just 2.2 innings.

Porcello faced the Jays on June 23. Toronto won 6-1.
