Memories of my island home.
My Lady of the Sea

I’ve never again felt so small
As when below the icebergs tall
Or so blessed by circumstance
That day I watched the humpbacks dance

Sunset burned upon the rocks
Boats floated home to their docks
On a moonlit bay so dark and chill
On an autumn eve starred and still

This world can grind
Paths all wind
Who knows where they’ll run?
But my lady of the sea...
I know where she will be
A little north of the rising sun
