A recap of last night's Toronto/Detroit Game One.
The Toronto Blue Jay's bats were smoking hot last night as the team trounced the Detroit Tigers. 12-1.

There has been questions about Toronto's rookie third baseman, Vladmir Guerrero, performance lately at the plate.

Last night, however, Vladdy silenced his critics by going three for five at the plate. He also picked up a RBI.

Toronto's Danny Jansen picked up three RBIs.

Jay's starting pitcher, Marcus Stroman, had a really good night on the mound,, going seven innings, giving up six hits, no earned runs, no walks, and struck out five batters.

Detroit's JaCoby Jones, went three for four at the plate.

Detroit's starting pitcher, Jordan Zimmerman, picked up his seventh loss of the season.

Zimmerman went just 3.2 innings, giving up seven hits, six earned runs, four walks, and struck out five batters.
