poetry attempt
On an unknown plane
of existence, she taunts me
I thrust my hand out

Again, failing/grabbing nothingness
grabbing air
My soul; my elusive self
Always just out of reach.

She floats away from my grasps her taunting eyes follow me
fingers almost brush
And yet, she still follows

How do you reclaim,
Something that has never left
But is also absent?

Is she purely me
Or was something else added
To this soulful pot?
