A dark, depraved soul is saved by the purity and trust of a beautiful virgin.
The virgin who's both fine and fair
    is like a rose that blooms afresh
even when no sunshine's o'er there.
    In the spirit and in the flesh,
so kind and good beyond compare,
    she's a maiden that's sweet and fresh.

Her pulchritude is hard to find,
    unblemished and as innocent;
and by her look and by her mind
    she soothes my wanton discontent.
And as she whispers from behind,
    her words quell me as if they're meant.

Her beauty, though, inspires my lust;
    a lust that I cannot control,
but control, though, I really must!
    For the first time I now feel whole
because I know I have her trust
    which saves my oh! depraved, dark soul.
