Drugs let you rise above? Not really, it's an illusion of relief.

It’s been forever
How’ve you been?
I’ve been away
Mostly travellin’
Thought I’d float back down
To see if the world has changed
If chaos reigned
Or destiny remained pre-ordained
All in all
It seems just the same
The dreams and schemes
Stale and plain
So if it’s ok with you
I think I’ll fly away again
I’ll see you then my friend
Some place where we can rest and mend
Up there where the mind bends
Perhaps somewhere near the end
