Melina and her cat, Jabber, want to go to the moon.
The castle was dark. Not a soul to be seen. The dark hall creaked as a young girl by the age of thirteen stepped out into the candlelight of the kitchen.
Melina had golden hair, like all the other strange beings on this planet. Her knee-length dress was dark green. the only thing that stood out was her purple eyes. No one else had eyes even close to the color blue. They seemed to glow in the day, and dark in the night.
"It's okay Jabber," Melina whispered, stroking her silvery cat. "We're going to get to the other planet."
Jabber meowed, stretching his mouth open to release the sound.
The two walked toward the outer reaches of their planet. The Moon shone as it was only a few inches away from Melina's face. "We have to climb," she said, looking up at the castle. They walked towards the brick palace. Melina put a hand on one of the bricks sticking out of the wall, Jabber hanging off her shoulder, she begins to scale the castle.

One they get to the top, Melina puts Jabber down on the roof. He mews and slides down to the edge.
"No, no, no, no!" Melina cries, pushing Jabber back on. She reached the top and held Jabbers tightly to prevent any other distractions to cause him to get that close to the roof.
Melina stood up, her purple eyes glowing in the light of the moon. She bent her legs and jumped.....
