A poem written for the 'Writer's Cramp' challenge 8/11/19. 18 lines.
A Small Act Of Kindness

It wasn’t much,
very small,
hardly anything at all;
and yet
that touch,
it really meant so much.
A hand on
my arm
somehow made me more calm;
not alone,
it did say,
on this sobering day.
Not deserted,
some relief
to that powerfully felt grief.
A denial
of blindness
from that small act of kindness.
