The next inning, Vladmir Guerrero hit a two run homer to put Toronto ahead 5-2.
Then, Randal Grichuk hit a solo home run later that same inning.
There was no more scoring until the bottom of the seventh inning.
Danny Jansen hit a solo home run.
Seattle got a run back at the top of eighth inning, but that was it.
Lopez went 1 for 3 at the plate and had two RBIs.
Mariner's pitcher, Wade LeBlanc, went seven innings, allowing 11 hits, seven earned runs, a walk, and struck out just three batters.
Guerrero went two for four at the plate and had two RBIs.
Waguespack went 5.1 innings, allowing five hits, two earned runs, a walk, and struck out five batters.
