How does yours truly had spent her summer? Read on and find out!
|Today, I am going to write about how yours truly has spent the entire summer, and let me tell you, it has been full of ups and downs for me, but creative-wise, it has been something that I would once again not ever forget…
First, back in June, I had said goodbye to blogging with that blog-hosting company WordPress after 6 years of providing readers with fun and information, and afterward, I had shut down my blog for good. Next, I began to work on my manuscript for what was supposed to be my very first book; Unfortunately, after I had finished my manuscript, polishing it as well as adding my own illustrations, it became quite complicated for me to convert my manuscript into my book. So it was that I had absolutely no choice but to convert my manuscript into eBook format, as in an Amazon Kindle Edition...Speaking of which, the time has now come for me to announce that my newest eBook release, Trio of Tales & Other Stories to Delight, will be released and available for purchase on November 12th, 2019, which happens to be seven years after I launched my WordPress-hosted blog that I no longer have.
My upcoming eBook is an anthology of three 3-chapter tales, plus two short-short stories in which I think you might love. Plus, I have also featured my own Zentangle(R)-inspired artwork! Once again, Trio of Tales & Other Stories to Delight will be available at the Amazon Kindle Store on November 12th, 2019; If you would like to pre-order it now so that it can be digitally available to you on that date, then please go to this link right here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WKGJGMF
Also this summer, I had done some reading, and you do know why I read, don’t you?! Because it helps me to write! Anyways, I have done some reading this summer, and I have read as many books as I can this summer, including the one in which it has some soap opera elements, Jell-O Girls. The next book in which I plan to read would be on the history of Sesame Street, and it is entitled Street Gang; Boy, I am ever so looking forward to reading that one!
Meanwhile, for the children who are living in the state of Delaware, this week is a melancholy one: It is the final week of summer freedom for them, because in the following week, they shall be going back to school. Aw, I somehow feel sorry for those kids who only have one week to squeeze as much summer bliss as possible, one final week of peace and quiet. I bet that somewhere they are saying, “Aw, nuts, only ten more months until next summer vacation!” But they should not be too sad-After all, school is a place where children have to learn, and if they want to learn as much as possible so that it fills their minds enough for them to be able to get a job and to have a better life, then they have got to go to school. After all, why should...Uh, have I said too much or something?
Anyhoo, that has what’s been going on with me at this moment, but may I suggest that you stay tuned as I am about to bring more written fun that’s going to come your way! Take care of yourselves, with love-JW
