Wisdom come too late for one may still benefit another.
So blinded to all that you could see
To all you could be
Stop marrying the melancholy
Carrying that weight
Varying your excuses
Before it's all too late
This guise of battered ego
That mask of shattered pride
Clips your wings
Holds you down
Traps the hero deep inside
Rise up and be counted
Be all you're meant to be
Take the chances
I didn't son
or you'll end up just like me.
