Stagnant, bored, time to move on?
She's grateful for the money,
Happy in her new space
Likes her co-workers,
She embraces all with grace.

She's grateful for the job,
Which provides stability.
Ecstatic to take some time off,
But what about her creativity?

She reports to work on time,
For the last eight years.
Completes all her duties,
Her comfort is really fear.

Co-workers come and go,
She trains their responsibilities.
Explains the workflow, then,
They leave for other opportunities.

Told she is resourceful,
During her mid-year review.
Gather around the boardroom,
Is this all they knew?

Throughout the time worked,
She made a few friends.
Joined a professional organization,
Her position is a dead end.

She feels she needs a change,
Her intuition tells her so.
Starting over can be scary,
She knows it's time to go.
