Poem for writer's cramp
Government employee, twenty-two years long
Tired of the politics, needs to hear a new song.
What will it be like? Can I make the move?
Something totally different, with everything to prove.

Title is the same, field is so not!
The work I can do, but the service is what?
Take the leap, what can go wrong?
Scared straight first day, must remain strong.

So much to learn, thought me too old
That's not the case, my boss told.
Two years later, best move I made,
Much happier now, no way would I trade.

The change can be scary, but worth it in the end
Change you for the best, and your life will blend.
