A poem about how special our oceans are I copyrighted and wrote on 7/31/08.
The Earth’s oceans are,
Like a precious sapphire star,
And you can see them from afar.
Ocean’s contain fish fit for any king,
Perhaps even a lost diamond ring,
And even the dolphins can sing.
The ocean’s are as ancient as time,
Their sands may hold a hidden dime,
And their beach may smell of key lime.
Many have a secret treasure,
That we could measure,
And they all bring us great pleasure!
Their shore’s sand is like gold,
At times they may be very cold,
But overall, many are beautiful and bold!
