Late at night, Canada listens to Ukraine's heartbeat.
It was gentle, and rhythmic. Ba-thump. Ba-thump. Canada smiled gently as she lay her head atop Ukraine's chest, letting the rhythm of the heart soothe her.

She sighed in bliss as the ever beating heart comforted her. "Maddie?" Ukraine asked, and the Canadian slightly jumped in surprise.
"I-I'm sorry, I'll move," she began before the Ukrainian female moved her whole body onto her own with ease.
"Don't worry about it. Think of it as a positive, we're both comfortable." Katyusha said, gently stroking Madeleine's hair. The two countries smiled, then fell asleep.
