Talk of a past abusive relationship and the eventual end of life because of it
Tears cascade down my face like your hands went down my hips
My intrusive thoughts bringing back memories of how intrusive your fingers and tongue had been
The number on the scale is dropping as fast as you had forced me to my knees
The bath water turns red, like your vision when I mentioned anyone but you
Fingernails break through skin― the same skin your teeth pierced as you caught my screams with your hand
My teeth chatter as the water turns cold as well, just as my blood did whenever you gave me that look
My eyes close for one last time, my last thought being how much I wish this same pain on you
