four teens stranded miles from home split their money and journey back to their homes.
Hard luck teens in a strange town
This was in the 1950s four teens were stranded in the small town of Cedar in the town of Lamont. Nobody on the street for miles.
These wayward teens missed their bus back yo Shangsworth.
With no money, the teens went into a local pub and won money on a slot machine. 25, 000 dollars was more than enough to go home. So they headed home to their family and friends. It was after a 3-hour bus ride on the local Wexford bus. It was so good to go home,
Finally, they could have a homemade dinner of sirloin steak potatoes and cooked onions and mashed potatoes and gravy and apple pie for dessert, Nothing was said about where the young teens went. The prodigal youths were finally home. They had learned a great lesson home is truly where the heart is.
