The sun obsesses and the moon flees.
The moon will whimper
at the dawn sun
he follows so closely
but the race isn't won
on to the horizon
in fear she runs

never tiring of the chase
he's come so far
but the moon, his love,
sees his heart ajar
and avoids the touch
of that fiery star
