A poem to celebrate October
Fall is now upon us
Cloudy rainy days
And cooler weather
A jacket now a must

The leaves have grown dark
Showing off their lovely hues
Some have already fallen
Trees now bare and stark

Air perfectly cool and crisp
Winds wild and blustering
Scattering colored leaves
Beware of the will-o'-wisp

Harvest season is here
Berries, nuts, and pumpkins
Canning and preparing
For the upcoming year

October is a good time
To sit back, relax
And take it all in
Before the Holiday grind
