Colors of 50 Crayons
What is Black?
What is it if not mixed with something,
But something so dark.
Why, is it never ending.
The stars, the moon and the colors of the water reflect,
But Black never shows color, but Majestic.
Now you say, well, my black shirt faded and my favorite jeans too,
So Black must fade like those do,
It's true,
The night fades as the Sun rises for the day,
The shade recedes the trees through the day.
A bat can say, that night is his time to play,
But Black is the bottom of the Oceans that turn blue.
So would Black be,
Infinitely Black or maybe there is,
Wonder from the colors it shares too!
