"Tonight was disappointing," said Leaf's head coach, Mike Babcock after the game.

Disappointing?

It was the worse game the Leaf's played this season.

Yesterday, I wrote in the preview that if Brayden Point was back in Tampa's lineup, it is bad news for the Leafs.

I was right.

Point scored the first goal of the game at 2:28 of the opening period.

Andreas Johansson tied the game at 4:19.

Leaf's captain, John Tavares, put the Toronto ahead 2-1 at 7:46.

Tampa went ahead 3-2 at 12:45 with a goal by Kevin Shattenkirk.

Auston Matthews tied the game at 17:56.

Staven Stamkos put the Lightning ahead again at 19:17.

Point scored at !0:46 of the second period.

Point finished the night with three points.

Tampa scored two more goals in the third period.

Kucherov and Ondej Palat scored the goals.

"It wasn't a good night for us," said Babcock. "We didn't do what we were supposed to do."

Kucherov and Stamkos finished the night with four points.

Tampa's Anthony Cirelli had three assists.
