A recap of last night's Tampa Bay/Toronto game.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are now on a three game losing streak after getting hammered 7-3 to the Tampa Bay Lightning last night.

"Tonight was disappointing," said Leaf's head coach, Mike Babcock after the game.


It was the worse game the Leaf's played this season.

Yesterday, I wrote in the preview that if Brayden Point was back in Tampa's lineup, it is bad news for the Leafs.

I was right.

Point scored the first goal of the game at 2:28 of the opening period.

Andreas Johansson tied the game at 4:19.

Leaf's captain, John Tavares, put the Toronto ahead 2-1 at 7:46.

Nikita Kucherov tied the game at 11:24.

Tampa went ahead 3-2 at 12:45 with a goal by Kevin Shattenkirk.

Auston Matthews tied the game at 17:56.

Staven Stamkos put the Lightning ahead again at 19:17.

Point scored at !0:46 of the second period.

Point finished the night with three points.

Tampa scored two more goals in the third period.

Kucherov and Ondej Palat scored the goals.

"It wasn't a good night for us," said Babcock. "We didn't do what we were supposed to do."

Kucherov and Stamkos finished the night with four points.

Tampa's Anthony Cirelli had three assists.

Matthews had two points last night.

Toronto is off to Detroit to face the Red Wings tomorrow night.
