Happy You

For all those who still got it hurting.

I said I want you to be happy
and I really meant it.
But, I never asked you to display it.
And I am well aware of what ‘happy’ could mean.
But, I never wanted to picture you living it.
It hurts because I never get close to it.
It hurts because it would make me think of all the ‘could have beens’.
I hate the happy you.
For, I am not the reason why.
But, still I want you happy.
I stand by what I said.
But, please do not show me it.
