Lady in distress
I’m sorry, she says
I’m sorry times ten
But she has to run away,
No matter whom she hurts.
Broadway waits for her, she says.
To do important things, she says.
She goes on her way and
After tiaras and customs and
Parties and Cocktails,
She comes back one day.
To find all she has left.
All forgotten, all moved on.
Where is everyone, she asks
Where are all my love ones, she says
No one to answer, no one comes
They are all gone, she finally says
With tears in her eyes she lays on the bed it was hers one day
But wait!! Here they come!!
But wait!! Who is the lady coming with them?
And with tears in her eyes in her eyes she left one more time.
I hurt them once, she said
Cannot hurts them again and she left
